Reflections Art Program

The 2024 Reflections contest is now open to all Esencia Preschool-8 Students! 

All work submitted must be original art created for this year’s theme “Accepting Imperfection”.

Official Rules:

• All submitted entries must be created by the student.  An adult may not alter the creative integrity of a student’s work. Because the program is designed to encourage and recognize each student’s individual creativity, help from an adult or collaboration with other students is not allowed except in the Accessible Arts Division.
• All work must be originally created for 2024 Reflections. No art submitted to other contests, or assigned or graded by teachers in a classroom, can be accepted.
• There are 6 available art categories:  

1. Dance Choreography
2. Film Production
3. Literature
4. Music Composition
5. Photography
6. Visual Arts

• Please read all category-specific guidelines carefully. All entries must adhere to the category-specific guidelines to qualify. Guidelines can be found HERE.  
• Works are evaluated within divisions: 
  • Primary (Grades Pre-K-2)
  • Intermediate ( Grades 3-5)
  • Middle School ( Grades 6-8)
  • Special Artist (Any student in any grade who has a self-identified disability. No disability verification is required.)
• All entries must be submitted to the Esencia front office by the end of the school day on Monday, September 23rd. No late entries can be accepted.
• All physical art must have a digital submission form completed AND the student’s name on the back of the artwork.
• All students who participate will be recognized school-wide.
