Our PTSA is fortunate to be able to provide a multitude of programs and events to carry out our mission of supporting all students and families at Esencia. This would not be possible without the generosity of our families and community.
This annual spring carnival has been known to feature inflatables, crafts, face painting, laser tag, nerf wars, cake walk, and the dunk tank. We think it is the perfect way to close out the year and say thank you to our school community for their generosity and continued support of PTSA! Stay tuned for details about Hawk Fest 2026!
PTSA helps pay for field trips, including entrance fees and/or transportation up to $25/student for TK-5th grade. Support is also provided for middle school field trips, such as the band and orchestra trips to Disneyland.
PTSA is happy to support a variety of assemblies for our Hawks, including Walk/Bike to School Safety and All Abilities Day Assemblies and Imagination Machine and Extreme Science Assemblies for TK-5th grade. 4th and 5th grade students are also provided with their respective "Walk Through" Interactive Assemblies.
We have fun and interactive family nights sponsored by the PTSA several times a year. These include an on-campus movie night and International Fair, which will have some exciting new additions this year that you won't want to miss!
"I Belong"...That’s the theme for the 2025-2026 Reflections Art Program, which has been bringing the arts to life for more than 10 million students since 1969. California State PTA and its members, families and kids are on the forefront of this amazing program, which increases community awareness of the importance of arts in education. Email our Reflections Chair for more info.
We are so excited to have dads and father figures on campus as part of the Dads of Great Students WATCH D.O.G.S.® program! WATCH D.O.G.S. provides positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important. Meanwhile, we provide extra sets of eyes and ears to enhance school security, reduce bullying, and provide a greater sense of campus safety.

PTSA funds a part-time Librarian and uses profits from the Fall and Spring Book Fairs to purchase library books, supplies, and equipment.
PTSA supports all Esencia teachers with classroom funds, a Teacher Appreciation Week celebration, and funding for trainings and conferences.
In addition to the Reflections Art Program, PTSA supports elementary and middle school music and funds scripts for the Middle School Theater Program.
Fitness is important and PTSA works to support the program by purchasing items needed to create a robust PE program. This is now more important than ever, as CUSD funding for elementary PE is being reduced in the 2025-2026 school year.
PTSA provides funding for the beautiful Esencia Garden and support site upgrades, including the school banners on campus and in the school parking lots.
